Basic Training
Refresher Week
For optimal skill retention, children should continue lessons once a week in a Maintenance or if applicable a Beginner Stroke Program. However if your child has not had lessons since last year or longer, a Refresher Week is required first & will ensure your child is the independent, confident swimmer he/she was at the end of the Basic Training.
For new swimmers, aged 6 months and up. MUST BE CRAWLING.
Children learn age appropriate swimming postures to allow them to learn to swim facedown in the water, rotate onto their back to a floating position which enables them to rest and breathe, then return to a facedown swimming posture.
Maintenance Program
Once a child has mastered the swim-float-swim technique, at the instructors recommendation; they will phase into learning beginner stroke techniques through Maintenance Lessons.
** Please note: once you’ve enrolled your child in a Refresher Week reach out to us to be put on the schedule for once a week Maintenance lessons. You will not be able to schedule these online without the direct link.
